Well, it sounds like you are sorely tempted. I would not be. At all.
Remember that FunStuff and GlamourStuff were both "stuff" packs that
required patches. Just think about that for a minute. Is your game buggy
enough for you now? If not, get FunStuff. <g>

Oh don't tell me YOU bought those stuffy packs too???? I would have never
thought it from your postings.

My point is that if "stuff" needs to be patched, it isn't just "stuff."
It's changing game files somewhere.

Call me pedantic, but *my* point is that even if that's the case, since the
patches exist, why is that bad? >> Stay informed about: orange oooooooooi saw a sim2 fun stuff for sale for 10 buc.. |

Good Lord, where does it suggest in my post that I bought any of them???
Believe me, I'm vehemently opposed to these packs--I've never bought them,
and never will. In fact I blame those who *do* buy them for the reduced
number of objects found in new expansion packs nowadays. Those people
proved to EA/Maxis that there's a market for them, so they have less of an
incentive to put more goodies in the expansion packs. I've mentioned this
before in this group.
I was merely pointing out that Jeanie's argument was moot. Don't read
something that isn't there. >> Stay informed about: orange oooooooooi saw a sim2 fun stuff for sale for 10 buc.. |

Matter of perspective, I guess. I don't want objects to change my game
files. I wouldn't download something that did that and I certainly wouldn't
pay for it.

Good point. I generally don't trust third-party downloads myself for that
very reason. >> Stay informed about: orange oooooooooi saw a sim2 fun stuff for sale for 10 buc.. |

Well, I'm a little leery of the ones from some sites, but trust others
because my experience has been good. Also, downloading objects from a
forum-type format (like at dinnerbell, MTS2, Insim, and places like that)
means that I can read through the thread and see if others have had good
experiences with it. Usually, if I trust the creator, I don't worry about
it.
