I need opinions

I've got a Nintendo side by side cabinet(2 monitors, 2 control panels)
it was a Captain America and the avengers or something. How would you
go about mameing this?
My thoughts are linking both monitors to display exact same video so
that each person has there own area, screen and control panel for both
one and two player games.
I could also make it into a four player but might be a little cramped
and how many decent four player games are there really?
Finally I could put two separate pc's and basically have two mames in
one cabinet and have separate controller configurations for specific
games on each(instead of have one of those games with ten joysticks 5
spinners 3 trackballs so that I could play every game conceivable on
one control panel) I never understand why people crowd their
controllers sooo much it just confuses people and they don't even want
to play the game.
How would you configure this? Like I said it is basically two games
side by side in one cabinet.
