I've been reading good things about oRA2 lately, and I'd like to try it out.
However, my guild uses CTRaid. Are the two interoperable? Can I use oRA2
and still get the MT boxes and all the other goodies I'm used to, if
everyone else in the raid is using CTRaid?

Yes, CTRA and ORA2 are fully compatible/interoparable. A large part
of my guild uses CTRA, but I use ORA2 with no problems in raids.

Some things to note though:

* ORA2 will give you MT/PT displays (vastly better than the CTRA ones,
in my opinion), but it does NOT give you the raid frames display.
If you want to see the health of everyone in the raid you'll need to
install another raidframes addon. Some of the availale choices are:
OzRaid
Grid (my favourite)
sRaidFrames (looks similar to the CTRA display)

* Unlike CTRA, ORA2 does not come with any Boss mods. If you want
specialised warnings on boss encounters, you'll need a boss mod
addon. I'd suggest one of:
BigWigs Boss Mods
La Vendetta

You don't say what class you are, but if you're a healer (like me) my
suggestions would be:

ORA2
La Vendetta
Grid
and Clique for easier healing!
