I had the same problem. The only thing I could do that worked was use
the Alcohol 120% software and make an image of the game. The you can set
it up to auto mount the image at boot. You must have the latest patch
for this to work also.

If for some reason that doesn't work right off hte bat, check the
registry to see if the game paths are pointing to the virtual drive and
not the physical drive.

Oh, and this is for Jedi Academy. I haven't done this for any other
games. Please reply to this message if it works so that anyone else who
has this problem knows if it works.

Paul

I think you might need to create the CD image first, mount it then install
the game from the virtual drive.
IIRC the no-cd patch from Gamecopyworld worked, but I never actually got
around to playing JA. Installed it and configured it - just never stated it.
Moved it to make space after a HDD failure and haven't been back since.

Finally got Jedi Knight Academy working w/9800 Pro - The Catalyst OpenGL drivers were the problem all along. I reverted to the Catalyst 3.8 OpenGL .dll (ATIo9xxx.dll) and now everything (incl. COD) works. Apparently, it is possible to use different ATIo9xxx.dll files for every OpenGL game (if you copy the....

JK 2 - Hi is jedi knight 2 good in multiplayer ? just want to make sure before i buy the game :)

What if I choose light-side at Rosh, but kill all the good.. - The first time through, I chose the light side when facing Rosh. During the tombs levels, I accidently killed a couple of my Jedi allies. (Stupid idiots wouldn't stay out of the way of my two sabers.) So what would happen if I deliberately went through...

question on saber combat with jedi academy - I bought jedi academy with no instruction booklet and am unaware how to perform the more complicated moves with the light saber.Any links or info anyone can provide would be appreciated if someone has the time.Thanks.

Anybody here still play JA? - I'm going to post a mod soon. Nothing special- just voice changes.
