Did I mention I was back? Yeah ok, but I'm excited Smile

So last night was my first night with the guild and the raid. Warm up on
the first 2 MC boses (I know all about that, when I left my raid had all
of MC on farm except Ragnaros (they downed Ragna for the first time the
week after I left *sighs*)), then into BWL.

3 bosses with one silly wipe on trash mob and a wipe at 3%; it was fun
but too quick and easy, I didn't have time to check out the decoration
etc etc.... it was a little strssful despite that, I got briefed in the
5 seconds before the fight started....

Then on the 4th boss, two wipes and the end of the evening... the MT got
booted from the server in the first 10 seconds, not much you can do
about that.

It was fun and painless, and the bosses dropped 3 times more gold than
the cost of my repairs Smile

I'm looking forward to Ragnaros tonight; everyone is keen, as last
weekend they got the servers Horde-side first Eye of Sulfuron, the
Hordes first legendary weapon.

I think I didn't do to badly, I'm always slow and the raid leaders know
that, not to expect teh best dps out of me (they bluffed a lot of people
by guilding me I think, as they have the reputation for being the Hordes
roXXors on our server, and I got guilded mostly for being on lots of
friend lists and my role play)

thats really nice.. as 2nd boss in BWL is IMO the hardest Wink we have
full BWL on double farm status now (guild of 110 ppl and we do 2 raids
to BWL). and we still wipe at Vael the most Wink

Firemaw is actually the 2nd hardest boss IMO Wink

we (guild) had no legendary drop for 4 month in MC.. and then we
(guild) got 2 bindings + Eye in 1 run Wink since then we (guild) only
got 1 binding and 1 eye...

"too quick and easy"?

What's your strategy between Vaelestrazs and Firemaw? That part alone
is one big 40 minutes fight for us! (and as a Priest, I can't leave my
eye from the screen nor write anything in the chat window until Firemaw
is pulled!)

Ahrg, my condeances, a tank disconnection is pretty much impossible to
overcome... everytime something happens to our MT against Firemaw, the
off-tank messes his placement by a couple pixel and gets out of range,
or puts his healers within range of Firemaw.

Anyway, rejoice, the "trash mob fights" after Firemaw are in my eye the
best fights in the game; it's no longer a 40 vs one big boss type of
battle, even though the difficulty is similar, it's very different
battles within a fight.

At Blizz-con they pulled out some stats about how many people
different bosses had killed. According to that Vael has killed more
players than any other boss in the game. Smile

Their stats are wrong, it seems so obvious that the boss LAG has killed
more players than any other that it's not even a closes call.

So second raid night with my new guild, MC, which the guild has on farm
status.

We did the first 2 bosses the night before, so last night was the rest +
Ragna, who I had never killed before.

It was the same "walk in the park" as what I was used to with my old
raid, except with less people (a guild raid seems to mean a lot more
flexibility to come and go as you need, so all night people were
arriving, and leaving...)

then Ragna; a good brief by a friendly mage who gave me his "cheat" spot
where I'd need neither fire resistance gear (I'm only at 125 buffed,
need to work on that a little, they are making flarecore shoulders for
me and I need to get my Onyxia scale cloak enchanted) nor brains 'cause
the Knockback would juste make me wriggle. The fight started, and aparet
from the fact that Ididn't know what to do when the sons popped (I knew
what I was supposed to do, but jsut didn't manage to do it^^), and Ragna
was dead...

It seemed such an anticlimax. Not that I'm unhappy, but I will admit
that I consider my first Ragna kill to be the one that my old raid group
did, I wasn't there but the leader messengered me in real time as they
downed him, and I remember the adrenaline when they succeded.

So, now I'm ready to attack BWL and new bosses with a clear consience,
I've completed MC. Last night I got the domination rod, and my long
awaited red dress (Pouvoir Volatile - Volatile Power?).

Just need to make myself a nice shirt to go with it, and I can relegate
my old and threadbare archmages dress to bank storage at long last. (I
was getting so sick of that blue couloured dress - I'd had it since last
spring, one of the first on the server...)

I didn't have anything interesting to say, but if you read through, cheers!

And when you do a bad pull and have to fight Vael and LAG at the same
time.. hooboy!

Cheers!
