The subject said it all.

A NewB to NWN2 would like to locate a good
web site
and or newsgroup devoted to daily general
questions about NWN2.

Thanks for any assist.

Nope and YUP, silly grin.

I have been caught up in the Lords of the Rings Online and having a ball.

Thus the reason I am late in checking out NWN 2.

The people who frequent the comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.rpg have formed a
"kinship" called "CISPGCR" or in our kinship we say "sissypigs" as most are
over 30 years of age and I just happen to be the oldest at 78.

No PK'ing just a group from the NG that are having FUN, well, when I am not
"soloing" and getting killed by dirty boogers. <grinning madly at myself>

So whats LOTR Online like???

I am seeing lots of mixed user reviews.......IMHO the WoW crowd dont like it
much.........
To me the immersive qualities of actually being in Eriador are making it
hard to resist..........

That and the balance between solo and coop play.........

Now, I wouldn't really listen to what the WoW people say...really Smile
I've never played WoW so I can't compare; however, I've read the
gameplay is similar. The reason drybones and I signed up was because
you don't have to be in big groups and it is the most solo-friendly
MMO (except Drybones and I need learn to not bite off more than we can
chew Wink) Even the Fellowship quests (meant for a group) can be done
alone when you are a higher level.

All I can say is if you are an LOTRO fan, it wouldn't hurt to try it
out and if you do, let us know and if you need it, we can help Smile

I'm waiting on the expansion for NWN2 before I dig into the game...and
well, I'm busy at the moment Wink I didn't start NWN 1 until all the
expansions were out and a slew of mods and that kept me busy for about
2 years! I plan on doing the same for NWN2.
