guys, I'm not showing any new posts since about 10/26 in this newsgroup or
comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.flight-sim (ok, that one's unusual only because I
would expect a couple of hundred political rants on the latests Mark Foley
or John Kerry fiasco).
Anyway, could someone email me and confirm that the group is still active
(which seems to be what I need to do to get Cox to look into it... They
supposedly "enhanced" their newsgroup access... I think they broke it!)
remove the bugoff and spam from my email to send something to me. (also,
this will help me narrow down that it's only the downloading of headers and
mail as opposed to uploading messages to the newsgroup that's a problem. >> Stay informed about: newsgroup server |

Cox's 'central' server has been driving me nuts lately, either not loading
at all, or taking five minutes to connect for newsgroups, so I changed to
the 'west' (under tools>accounts>news>server), which helped a bunch! (they
have east, central, and west) >> Stay informed about: newsgroup server |
