Hi,

My name is Maaike Lauwaert and I'm a PhD student in The Netherlands. I
am currently doing research on the Sims and SimCity. I wanted to ask
this group - and I hope you don't mind this! - whether you think
the option of adding your sims from the sims into simcity is something
players like. I thought the whole my sim level was a bit meager. It
just provided me with another feedback system but it didn't add
anything profound to the game play. Or am I missing something?

Thanks a lot in advance and hoping to hear from you!

Originally, I liked the fact that I could put *my* sims from TS1 into SC4,
and the fact that they gave you ocational tips on what to do. Now that I no
longer have TS1 on my PC, as I play TS2, I don't use that feature any more,
as they are not my sims, and I just dont bother adding them, but I think
that it would be a good feature to include and develop on for SC5 (with TS2
or 3).

i think it would be great to really combine the two games but since
wright is now so into that spore game of his, i think it unlikely that
sequels to SC or TS will develop into any major new way. but that's
just my idea...

Some problems with the game config - I'd like to know whether it is possible to stop SC4:RH from putting its configs (including saved cities) from the "My Documents" folder. I wish to separate my disk partitions and its action is simply utterly annoying.

(on the topic of railways....) - Hi Just a [simple] question. What do you do when your rail stations get over 100% cap? DO i have to go to elevated rail or monorail? I have tried building stations around that particular station - but then they are not used at all!
