Can I copy and move a house from one neighborhood to another? I have a
house I like and would like to have the same one in a different neighborhood
I am making. I don't want to move the family... Just the house.

Thank you
Robin

Yes. With an empty house you can move it to the lots bin and then it will be
available in any neighbourhood. If you want to move it to another computer
you need to click on it like you were planning to enter it, but not enter.
One of the icons down the left side of the screen that pops up will be
package lot. You package it to a file (the computer will tell you were it
put that file in the message that says packaging is complete) and then you
can put that file on a disk and install it into another computer.

I will say it here, even though it looks like you already know this from the
way you posed the question - it is a VBT to move occupied lots (including
lots with graves) from one neighbourhood to another, or even into and out of
the lots bin.

Oh, but, remember to move the family out first. If you do not want to move
them you do everything like you are going to take it to another computer,
but also download and install CleanInstaller from MTS2. Then you use it to
open the saved file and edit out the Sims and then save the file again. It
is the clean version that you will then want to install into your game.

I downloaded a lot fill of straw huts for some of my centaurs...lo and
behold, when I opened up the lot, there were Zulu's living there! Or
mayve they were Congolese? At any rate, they went bye bye...think I got
that one from the "official" site...
