I noticed also but just didn't want to make a post just for the sake of
creating traffic - still I find the one months of silence is valid
reason so don't take it as criticism. I guess the case is that not much
new can be said about UT and I must admit to rarely playing these days
even with plenty of rainy days this summer (Our local downpour is
something like 400% higher than normal and way above earlier records).

Maybe the next UT will provide a boost even though I worry since it's to
come on consoles!

Kind regards

Funny, I noticed a few new mods, and players, for UT99 lately. I know that
ut master's idiocities turned me off this group for long awhile. Even if he
is in my bozo bin.

I also know that some clan's are still very active, is that option viable
for the console fraggers ? The comunity aspect of the game, in my opinion,
determines it's longevity.

I'll have to admit, I still haven't graduated from UT GOTY, is there a good
sniper mod/server with this option for other vertions of UT ? If so I might
be tempted.

Can't say I ever noticed him. Maybe he appeared after I stopped being
here every day.

Clan's are a big part of it for sure. What's possible on the consoles is
hard to say but I'm guessing there will be some support for clans.

Sry - I'm the wrong one to ask.

Like you UT and some of it's mods* was/is the thing for me. I bought
2003 and tried the 2004 demo but that's it. While I found the new
installments fun they didn't last plus it bugged me that playing with
all gfx options on was a disadvantage. Just the fact that grass was
limited with low settings made a difference on some maps - something
which was not the case on UT.

Kind regards
Bruno

Just playing the odd game on multiplay and mostly playing Farza 2 on the 360
in HD.

The 360 is good for driving games but i cant get my head round it for FPS
types.

Just waitng for Quake wars Enemy territory and UT 3 to appear.

Hopefully they will be good. I just hope after umpteen goes the proper feel
of UT is back not just mega eye candy.
