I'm hoping I can keep this going by having people post questions about
"Does this (partcular) mod exist" in here.

The particular mod I'm looking for would greatly reduce the number of
buttons I need on my screen by creating a customizable pulldown that I
could add buttons and spells to. Imagine what you see when you look at
the upper part of a Windows program: File / Edit / View / Favorites /
Tools / Help. But instead it would say: Buffs / Auras / Food & Drink /
Professions / Emotes / Etc. Maybe I could create my own by writing a
FuBar mod using a template? I could substitute a pulldown menu for a
circular totems if one exists but I'm not sure. Please help.

What mods have you been looking for?

I think Sphere Does that. For instance, If you put potions in one of
the bar slots, it will pop up drop down (drop up?) menu with all of
the potions in your bag. Same for food, Ammo/Shards, etc..
I think it's Ace2 as well.

There is something similar that comes as part of the MazzleUI package
but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called at the
moment...it gives one button that pops up all in-stock food at
mouseover, another with all your drink, another that pops up with all
your potions on mouseover, etc....
I'll look when I get home, might be one of the "Ace2" utilities....

Thank you, please look for me. I'm somewhat savvy with the search bar
in Ace2 Updater, but I wouldn't know the phrase to look for in this
case.

I use Bongos2 in conjunction with X-Perl Unit Frames. Great way to
customize everything.

Not what you ask for Wink but sometimes we can use other things;

There is a mod called Geist (Spirit in german Smile

You map one key for it's use - when you press and hold that key you get
5x5 buttons which popup under your mouse pointer - where ever that mouse
pointer happens to be. When you release your key they all disappear.

While they are there they work like any button bank, for instance you
just drag your spells out of the spellbook and unto the bar.

I'm currently using Klappa for this. I will try out Autobar and see if
I like that more.

Thanks for the responses!
