What are you guys using for a mod or UI? I am looking for different stuff.
What do you guys use? I am using Cosmos UI right now. Does anything do any
better?

Cosmos is kind of a resource hog. I use CTMod which is a bit less intrusive.

I prefer just to use specific mods for specific purposes, and activate the
ones I need to that character.

The ones I load on my main for raiding are CTRaid, CTBossMods, CTMailMod,
CTRaidTracker, DamageMeters, HealersAssist, decursive, whispercast,
MaexxnaWallMod, Cthun-warner, SpellTimer.

My alt farmer uses Auctioneer, miniMapCoord and gatherer.

My guild bank uses GuildTools.

My alt Im levelling up uses MonkeyQuest and a few of those listed above.

While I like some of the things it does some aspects of Cosmos have
become redundent with the later patches.

Titan Panel is quite popular and it's not so heavy than Cosmos

Foobar can do everything Titan Panel can do, and is much lighter.

My opinion is to pick and choose mods that you like. I personally prefer
using mods based on the Ace framework, they are much lighter than their
non-ace counterparts. Just by replacing some heavy addons with Ace-based
ones, my add-on memory consumption went from 78 MB to 24 MB, which to me
is a clear indication of how less bloated Ace mods are.

Whatever you do, avoid Cosmos. It is the worst resource hog of all WoW
addons (although it is not an addon, but a compilation)

I agree Smile Plus they are a lot prettier too. I currently use:

PerfectRaid
oRA2
SW Stats
FuBar (+ addons)
Squishy Emergency Monitor
ElkBuffBar

Also Perl, which isn't Ace2.

I have ditched:
CT Raid Assist
CT Mod (mostly, a few features like chat timestamps I use)
Titan Panel

and my UI is a looot nicer looking and less memory used Smile

I am using :

Auctioneer
Bagnon
CallToArms
Critline
Different ct-mods (www.ctmod.net)
Decursive
Discord Unit Frames
Recipe Radar

As for complete UI's I don't use them, but I tried Nez UI and I found it
nice based on the Ace tool-chain[1]:

Dumb UI bar mod question - Does anyone know of a mod that will lock the primary action bar in one position? I don't know pre isely how I'm doing it (some mousewheel action, I think), but I don't use the function, and I'm forever finding that I've managed to roll my favourite /mos...

Is there a hide armour mod? - I'm looking for a mod to allow me to select which items of clothing show. Is there anything like that available? Thanks

WoW freezes with mods when grouped - I have the following mods installed: EquipCompare 2.7 (just upgraded it to 2.8) SellValue 2.7 FastQuest 2.0 Telo's Infobar 1.4.0 PetFeedButton 1.3.8 (just upgraded it to 1.3.9) (comes with Zubanlib 0.1.2 -> upgraded to 0.2.0) PetFeedMod..

CT_Mod and a couple of problems - I use CT_Mod among a few others and I have two annoying problems with it.. Firstly I like having the bars at the bottom of the screen but I have to turn on both the blizzard bars and the CT_Mod bars or the 3rd utility bar (I.e. pet bar/druid..

installing mod - I am wanting to install the Minimap Coordinates Addon.. it came with 3 files and no instructions on how to install it. Can anyone tell me what DIR I need to put those files in? TIA
