Either none of those work anymore or maybe my router is blocking me from the
internet. ( The same setup allows my quake 3 server to get listed and played
on.) It's a D-Link router, not like my old netgear that allowed me to
forward ports to it for opening. I guess it's easy enough to troubleshoot,
I'll just bypass the router and see if the server shows up in ASE or
gamespy....or anywhere.
As an aside, my old netgear had it's problems too. Mainly this, when clients
joined from the internet the server worked fine until a map change, then q2
would crash. If I joined by myself from behind my router it transitioned to
the next map fine. If I went to a friend's house and joined using the
internet, it would crash at map change. I never did figure that one out, but
it did make me stop running a q2 server. I want to run one again, but now I
can't access any master servers. Why can't life be easy for a change?
