other games in the MMORPG pack, and the concept seems to be working.
The game remains at the top of Yahoo's top searched video games list.
Plus, player popularity has been so great, the game announced it has
put five new servers online.
Runescape is a MMORPG that offers two levels of play: free and
subscription. That's right, players can delve into what the game has
to offer without paying a dime. Of course, the subscription base gets
a little more bang for the buck. (Speaking of buck, it only costs $5
USD per month to play for those who do subscribe.)
While it doesn't boast some of the life-like graphics of the giant
MMORPGs, Runescape seems to be proving that substance and fair pricing
still mean something in this world.
