It is a good question.
War of the Robots...2 free download versions available from my site
I, Cyborg...still available for purchase at a reasonable $30
Vector 21...still available for purchase at a very reasonable $21
3D Lord of the Robots..in pre-order status, special box, etc $50
shipped
As of today, only War of the Robots has sold out.
That's not to guarantee that upon selling a title out
that a free download will follow, but it certainly
would be at that point that a decision like that
would be made. I can tell you now that I, Cyborg
will probably not be released as freeware, and there
are still over 70 cartridges available for purchase.
One thing that must be kept in mind is that the
very last thing I want to do is piss off my paying
customers by dumping the game for free after
it sells out. I did it with WOTR mainly to put
out a version that had a lower difficulty setting
(via the cheats that exist in the freeware versions).
As for lower priced Mark Shaker versions, it's
certainly an option that I will consider, but again,
not until after the initial versions sell out through
FURY.
