I need help with my talent tree,

2. I want too play most solo before i ready for outland.
3. I dont think i do any instance (Tanking) before Outland.

Do i go Fury - Arms or Protection ?

I saw an interesting thread on this on the official warcraft forums
the other day. I know! A useful thread on the official forums!

Anyway, it looks like dual wield fury seems to be the way to go. You
can have a look at the thread here:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=4311223278&sid=1

Personally, I levelled my warrior as two handed fury, but that is
because I like to hit things with big weapons.

My level 22 is sitting waiting for the day I go and spec fully Arms,
because thats supposed to be the levelling dmg spec, so I heard. Fury
isn't useful until later, or at least, _as_ useful.

Arms OR Fury. Definitely NOT Prot.

Soloing fast is about killing fast. Prot does not do that. Prot Warrior
might be the slowest killing in the game.

Don't take gathering professions. If you want one to make cash, take
skinning, because the resources will come to you. While you are low
level enchanting is good, since you can DE drops and save bag space,
which means fewer trips back to town.

Too late now, but Undead is good race for fast warrior leveling as you
can eat without buying and carrying food if you fight the right type of
mobs (humanoid and undead.)

I went prot, 'cos I wanted to learn to tank, and I tanked most of the
old world levelling instances. Full prot is ok for levelling, but
maybe you should go arms or fury until 50 and then go full prot when
you can get Devastate. Get some tanking practice in Zul'farak before
you level above 50 though, that's a good place to learn pulling and
tanking as it has casters and ranged in a nice open area where you can
see what is happening. If you do go prot, I'd recommend getting to 59
or 60 before you go to Outland, Hellfire Peninsula is hard for a 58
prot warrior.

Alternatively, it might be worth a re-spec to prot just to run ZF a
couple of times in your mid-40s then spec back again. I really do
think that ZF is perfect for tanking practice.

OK, my 2 cents:

Fury is like a rogue with better armor and none of the rogues best
talents for sneak and stun. You can do big damage but you gotta be
able to take a hit too. Not my first choice for PvE leveling. In my
opinion best left for later levels or PvP if that's what you want to
do.

Prot is the tanking spec. You can take on mobs 4 or 5 at a time but
pack a lunch to kill 'em because you aren't dealing enough DPS to make
it quick. Not a good choice for fast leveling in PvE.

Arms is what my 41 warrior has most of his points in. Reasonably fast
leveling, good DPS and armor. I carry 2 good one hand swords, a good
shield, and a two handed weapon so I can switch off between dual-
wield, two handed, or sword-and-shield depending on the situation. It
gives flexibility to take on and solo many different situations.

Most likely I will respec Prot after I get past level 60 or so in
order to begin seriously tanking instances. Before then I'll muddle
through dungeons in defensive stance and arms spec...

I would say take both gathering. Makes more money than anything, DE'd
items don't amount to a whole lot more than the vend price except
perhaps at level 70... Skinning is lesser gathering, while easy to
level, it sells for much less. Take it with herbing or mining. Most is
by herbing and mining, but you need to remember to keep switching the
minimap radar...

Don't touch crafting. Unless you just want to waste money.

Well it depends on how you play I expect....*I* personally have not
had much success with fury, however I know a couple of warriors (lvls
60-70) who swear by it. Your mileage may vary....

LOL it took me almost 10 lvls to get the quest requirements, those
fire elementals were kicking my butt for a while....I did solo
EVERYTHING on that quest with the exception of the last elite,
somebody passing by jumped in when I had him down to about 30% and
helped me finish him off, still not sure if that was needed or not....

Better way is lvl up with no talents, gear and weapons. Just bare fists.

That is exactly what I have done with my warrior who is now L58.

The point of skinning and enchanting is to save TIME, not make money. He
said he wanted to level fast. Two gathering trades means bags filling
FAST and lots of trips to town wasting time. DE'ing drops saves SPACE
which means saving time. I once played a warlock who had enchanting and
Tailoring. He carried thread, and DE'd his gear which broke in the field
and sewed some new stuff on the spot. That was pretty neat.

The one exception is alchemy. The results of which can give your
character much better survival ability.
