Post subject: trying to get kids games to work

I bought a game for my daughter supposedly for windows xp, when I try to run
the game it says it's for wondows 95/98 only. I have tried using the
programme compatability wizard but it didn't help, and as I am a novice at
computing, I would appreciate if someone could tell me in laymens terms if it
is possible for this game to work. please Email me if you know if it will work
