Thanks. It was my first real green stuff project as prior to this I had
only ever used it to fill gaps.

Maybe. I actually I don't have a chaos army yet. I just got the model
because I like it and wanted to do this conversion.
I have a loyalist space marine army and my plan is to collect enough daemons
and other chaos units so I can run them using codex Chaos Space Marines with
most of my models serving double duty in both armies. So far I have the DP,
some horrors/flamers (yeah I know they're probably the weakest of the daemon
packs but I like the freaky looking models) and a chaos dragon that can
serve as a greater daemon. Next will likely be obliterator conversions. I
just don't have the time and money to build a whole new army from scratch so
I intend to just keep adding stuff to my space marines to give me more
options on how to play them (I've also added Daemon Hunter and Witch Hunter
units). So when I play my loyalists as chaos, tac marines will be chaos
troopers, assault marines will be raptors, predator tank will be a chaos
predator tank and so on. I'll call them "tainted" and/or say that they're
newly turned to chaos so they aren't quite as spikey as your typical chaos
marine army. Probably play them as undivided.
So for paint scheme, my loyalist are a dark cool purple (imperial purple)
with black weapons and trim on the shoulder pads and golden yellow eyes and
chest emblems and this Daemon Prince will be similar. The non-organic parts
of the armor will be dark purple with black on all the bands and trim. The
organic looking parts of the model (jets, parts of the armor like the left
forearm and knee, hands, head, etc.) will be highlighted up to red similar
to the DP on the box. The jet intakes and exhausts, spines, horns, spikes,
and forearm gun will all be bone/ivory.

Other than flight and stature I haven't really thought about it much. I
liked the forearm gun so I extended it and posed the model to look like he's
about to shoot so I guess for WYSIWYG purposes I should at least give him
demonic fire. Not that the DF will ever do anything but it's only 5pts.
