Yes there is a mod that removes the quest flag from eveyr item in the
game. WARNING. Doing this will allow you to accidently sell/drop
items and break quests. You've been warned. Wink Try the mod wiki to
find it.

Yes quests still work. The "quest" flag on items just makes the game
disallow you from dropping or selling it. I've played through most of
the game with this mod on and had no problems. However you do have to
be a bit careful. Some quest items aren't OBVIOUSLY quest items and it
would be very simple to sell one off or otherwise dispose of it wihtout
meaning to.

Mostly I got tired of carrying the things around. They took up UI
space, I got tired of scrolling by quest items. Wink There are a number
of places in game where you can finish a quest and still end up wtih
one or two quest items in your inventory. I'm sure its a bug, but its
an annoying one.

I like to keep a clean neat inventory with JUST what I am using in it
(or loot from my current dungeon). I don't carry extra junk around so
it annoyed me.
