I have a cloaked ship over an enemy planet which can see an enemy Super
Star Frigate located at the same planet. Can my T-Rex which is not
over the enemy planet intercept the SSF? My DOS client tells me the
ship is not in the area, however VPA client lets me give the order.

We have VPA features disabled in this game.

Thanks!

Rohan

You should be able to intercept, all ships can see all ships, that can be
seen, if that makes sense!

Probably yes, from what I read out of your post. In general, it's not
the ship which sees the SSF, it's your empire as a whole, which has to
see the ship.

The DOS client re-implements part of the host-side rules. Although HOST
told you that the SSF is there, the DOS client filters it out - but only
when observed from the T-Rex.

Another possible reason is that your empire is very densely populated
with ships. I recall rumours about a limit that Dosplan can display only
50 ships (green or red dots) on its scanner, everything else is calimed
to be out of range. If you have your huge invasion fleet on the next
planet...
