I started out in Sims1 with a pirated, liked it so well I have bought
everyone since. I had to uninstall and lose everything with it. I
just want to say, I too am ashamed of it...and I don't do that no more!

That all depends upon whether or not you want to start from scratch.
Save your Neighbourhoods and downloads folders, uninstall the bootleg
stuff, install the legal stuff, delete the Neighbourhoods from the new
install, then copy both the saved Neighbourhood file(s) and the download
file(s) to the Sims2 folder in My Documents. That way, you could
probably pick up where you left off.

Save your Neighbourhoods and downloads folders, uninstall the bootleg
stuff, install the legal stuff, delete the Neighbourhoods from the new
install, then copy both the saved Neighbourhood file(s) and the download

The Sims (original) and Win XP - Ok, I know this question keeps popping up time and again, but I notice they are just missing the point to what I'm after. Basically, I have Windows XP SP2, and The Sims (no expansion packs). The computer matches the minimum specifications on the back....
