The Sims (original) and Win XP - Ok, I know this question keeps popping up time and again, but I notice they are just missing the point to what I'm after. I have Windows XP SP2, and The Sims (no expansion packs). The computer matches the minimum on the back..

I am sorry to admit, but we have had a pirated version of the Sims 2 on
the computer
for a while.
However we have enjoyed it so much I want to buy the real game of Sims
2 and the expansion
packs.
My question is, will I have any problems installing the legal Sims 2
program?
Should I uninstall the pirated version first?
Does anyone have any hints or experience about doing this? |

I am sorry to admit, but we have had a pirated version of the Sims 2 on
the computer
for a while.
However we have enjoyed it so much I want to buy the real game of Sims
2 and the expansion
packs.
My question is, will I have any problems installing the legal Sims 2
program?
Should I uninstall the pirated version first?
Does anyone have any hints or experience about doing this? |

I started out in Sims1 with a pirated, liked it so well I have bought
everyone since. I had to uninstall and lose everything with it. I
