it has Armor Attack, Bedlam, Cosmic Chasm, Minestorm, Minestorm 2,
Omega Chase, Omega Chase Deluxe, Pole Position, Rip Off, Solar Quest
and Star Castle on it.
you need an Atari driving controller to play it.
i have the boxed cart and a prototype coupling device which attaches
the vec controller to the driving controller courtesy of Chris Tumber
(who haven't seen or heard from in ages 
i'll try get a pic of it for you...
do you have any repro bags left?

So if I got hold of a driving controller are these games available for
purchase or download?
Would I need any extra hardware to connect the controller to the Vectrex?

All you need is the controller, it just plugs right in.
The games on spinnerama have all been modded to use the driving controller
from original stick control... I don't think it's been released for
download, but I could be wrong.
It doesn't come up for sale much as far as I can tell either... it's only in
a plastic video type case with colour printed cover so if the guy who did it
originally wanted to he could produce more, it wasn't a limited numbered run
I don't think.

My copy no less!
And I jsut moved house and I found the corrugated plastic contraption that
'fixes' the vec controller to the driving controller.
I'll send it one day!

vectrex repair - I have a vectrex unit that I've had since I was a kid. The display shows dots with broken lines on minestorm and any inserted cartridge. I've tried to resolder the 4 pin connector as mentioned by somepeople on this site, no luck. I'm amazed by the depth...

Fixed My broken Vectrex - Picked up the Vectrex off Ebay recently that had the "dot" on the screen with some garbled graphics.. I put money on the 6522, but it turned out to be one of the RAM. While I had it open, replaced the caps, did the buzz fix, and socketed all... |
