Despite all of its problems, I have been a fan of the shortlived MURPG
system put out a few years back. Since the line was canceled after
three books, I have been trying to think of a way to get marvel to take
a second look at this. The best way i, personally, can think of doing
this is to improve on whats already been put out.

i am looking for fans, or former fans of the system, who have access to
the books, and are willing to work on improving it.

my ideas so far:

combine all three books, to start with. this will help to work in
eratta that was given in the X-Men guide and the Avengers guide. It
should also help take care of system redundancies (IE: reflexive dodge
Vs. toughness).
Obtaining the creation proccess (starting stones, challenges, and
advantages/disadvantages for the actions) for each pre-made character,
so that the character can be altered, using current creation options
(IE: there's no reason the Punisher shouldnt have fast draw).
more GM tips throughout each module (IE: when the player is convinced
they have the right source of information, but the module says
differently, go with the players choice).
balancing character options (IE: limiting hex-shperes).

any ideas on how else to improve this game, or how to work with the
suggestions so far, are widely appreciated.

I don't know if I'd make a big deal about it. Fast draw isn't
all that critical a skill to have if most of your combat
techniques are based around crashing through doors with
a blazing assault rifle in your hands. Smile

normally i'd agree, but Punisher having fast draw would make more sense
then best having five ranks in music/keyboards (which was apparently
designed just for him).

In case you are not already aware... a fourth book was developed by the MURPG fan community - Spider Man's Guide to New York.

The forum for the book can be found at
http://murpg.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=fanwork
and links to the completed book can be found there as well.
