I'd say this is true of both PvE and PvP, in PvP you get things like flame
weapon and darkfire. In my opinion its a toss up between Ice and Acid for
second, ice storm vs mestils acid sheath. So it depends if your melee based
or not, if you are, and plan on fighting some mages you might want acid
resistance to take the edge of mestils

Negative energy is what i'd most like in an armor... failing that,
since it's not AFAIK a crafting option in NWN2, I went with generic
spell resistance.

I decided not to go with elemental resistances in the armors, because
Resist Energy (dunno if I got the right spell name) has a 24 hour
duration and resists 100% of one energy type.
