I asked first! The guy's not giving it up to anyone. He has a right for liking Civ IV over GalCiv2 but his reasons for doing so are a bit suspect. To claim that GalCiv2 is bad just because the tech tree is too long (I'd have to say that Civ's is too, by comparison). For the type of game that Civ GalCiv are you have to have a technology tree, and most that employ such a tree have about the same general concept. I enjoy playing both Civ IV and GalCiv2. I'm not about to give the latter up because it just doesn't measure up. I was hoping to get a free copy from Andre (though, like most of his post, he was just spouting off) and then pass it on to a friend.
