Please help me with this if you can. I have a pentium 3 computer with
windows 98. It has an arcadevga inside of it and I also have the jpac.
I have a Sharp Image Electronics, inc monitor on my arcade machine. The
machine is a jamma(obviously). I installed the windows 98 arcadevga
drivers onto my computer.

Now when I hook up the computer to the jpac and the jpac to the machine
all I get is the gateway logo(first thing that pops up when you boot up
the computer) going up and down the screen. I've tried putting the jpac
into 15, 25, and 31khz modes and none of them seem to have different
results. I also made sure that my arcadevga is set to NTSC(I also tried
PAL) but it also has the same result. I see the gateway logo streaking
up and down the screen for a bit then that goes away and the screen
stays black. Any ideas what I can do to fix this? Any help is greatly
appreciated, thanks.

-Adam

Drop the resolution of the PC to 640x480 and see if that helps.

Well it seems that I don't have enough ram to support the arcadevga.. I
put it into a machine with 128mb of ram and of course it's a 128mb
card! So I'm going to have to get more ram first and hopefully that'll
solve the problem of it not booting up properly.

Haha yeah I don't know what I was thinking when I said that. Don't
worry, I'm not that dense.
