Hi,

Im a little frustrated at the point where you have to wait for an elevator
to come up in a dark place, when there are lots of zombies with granades and
you dont see a thing because the battery of your lamp is too low? Any tips
at this point? Any extra light or something? Whatever i do the lamp is
everytime low on battery, so visual is practically zero. I hate when do do
that.

There are some flares lying around that you can use for extra light...
also, remember that setting an oil-drum alight will do the same, and
also take out a few of the gatecrashers at the same time...

Also, you can use the gravity gun and take the grenades from the zombines
and toss
them away

The suit light recharges really fast too if you leave it off for a second.

My "strategy" for that room was to stockpile cinderblocks, radiators,
and other heavy throwables in one pile in the "alcove" to the left of
the elevator as you're facing it, and explosive barrels and gas tanks in
another pile. That way, the baddies are funneled together. As soon as I
flipped the switch, I ran back over to my little alcove and lit a few
flares on some baddies for some light. I used radiators and cinder
blocks on the monkey zombies and the grav gun and shotgun on the
zombines. I had a nice little pyre going most of the time, so light
wasn't my main issue, it was the monkey zombies. They would run through
the "line of fire" Wink fast enough to not catch fire. That's how /I/ got
through it, may not be the best way. I'm sure you could get away with
using another corner, but the main thing is to be able to funnel the
baddies so you don't have to defend all around you, you have a wall or
two (or three) at your back. Hope that helps ya.

Just stay in the room with the electric switch. That way all the zombies
have to come in the door, and you and Alex can wipe them out. Also turn your
light off between "waves". The zombies do tend to come in waves. Turn it
back on when you hear them approaching. When Alex says the elevator is here,
make a run for it.

The lift looked a bit hard to do, but spread some lights around you and you
can make it.
I made it, i finished the game. Maybe on the short side but very cool.
Especially the endscene. I want more.

The second episode (movie at the end of episode one), i cant wait for it.
Half Life 2 is such a great game. Gets better with every game that comes
out. I was disappointed by a total other wellknowed game (tomb raider, gets
worser with every new game) but with hl2 it seems the only way is up. And
you just get pulled into the game. I liked it.

You just have to let it keep going. It will even bounce out to the
desktop then restart. After it restarts, an episode 2 trailer plays.
