I'm looking for a mod to allow me to select which items of clothing show. Is
there anything like that available?

You can hide your hat and cloak in Interface Options in the menu.

It's not possible with the Blizzard LUA scriping language so you'd have to do it with some sort of 3rd party memory editor, which of course opens you up to getting banned. If you only care about what you see yourself, you might be able to find a client-side hack for that. I say "hack" because it most likely wouldn't be built with LUA and the official mod tools. You could even go as far as modifying the games local resource file and just making all gear transparent. CT_Mod and a couple of problems - I use CT_Mod among a few others and I have two annoying problems with it.. Firstly I like having the bars at the bottom of the screen but I have to turn on both the blizzard bars and the CT_Mod bars or the 3rd utility bar (I.e. pet bar/druid..
