Post subject: help please with the nightwatch

my dad's playing this so the question is second hand
mission 2 of the nightwatch, Elicitation
trying to get a bottle of anointing oil, can get the scroll and the
potions but not the purse or the oil, he says he can't frob the oil
but needs it for something happening later
any tips please

There are many items in The Nightwatch missions where the frob
distance is set lower than normal so you have to get really close to
get them. Has he tried leaning forward? That's mapped to "w" in my
key bindings.
Yes, he must have the oil to finish the mission. There is a
walkthrough here, btw:

hi
thanks for the link and tip, got it sorted
he's 73 years old and totally addicted to these thief games, he's
played the 3 official games along with nearly all the fms available
(hundreds)
Still, keeps him busy
