I got this mod and i got so many that i don't know which one is doing this.
When I go into AV i get these bars on my screen that show the progress of
the different camps in the battleground. And the bars are annoying because
they block my view of the game. Does anybody know what mod is doing this?

Deadly Boss Mods does it (with the BG addon module) and I think that a
mod called Capping also does it. I'm sure that there are others.

have you tried moving them? Alt+left click could help you move them.

A number of mods provide these, I use AVbars. Normally you can do
something like shift-drag on them lets you drag them to your
preferred location, depending on exactly what mod you're using.

If you use Deadly Boss Mods you can right-click on each bar to hide them; I
usually hide the ones for places I'm not near/not interested in and just
leave the nearby ones up.

With DBM you can also set the scale so they aren't so huge... I scaled mine
down and limited the number of bars to 5, works quite well. To call out
time left on a resource to the raid group, shift-click a bar... this morning
was a great example, horde re-capped west FW tower, I got it back but within
seconds the group had rushed Drek already, apparently not knowing the tower
was still up.. I called the time and they pulled back to let him reset
(Horde didn't have either bunker or the aid station yet so we had plenty of
time). After a while someone asked if it was safe to proceed, I
shift-clicked the timer bar for the tower which let everyone know there was
approx. 15 secs left on the tower. We rushed him and won.

Hmm nice, I'll check out the scale adjusting, can use that even in pve, as
I discovered that on Moroes the vanish timer kindly covers my focus frame
which makes reshackling a bit trickier... and I've got the focus frame in
the perfect place to not overlap anything else so moving it is kinda
annoying!

Don't think I'll limit the number of bars though, because as Shammy says,
having the ones you want not showing in AV because you had it limited would
be more annoying than just right-clicking the not-so-relevant ones Smile

How does it make reshackling trickier?

I need to set number of bars to 15 and that's only for AV reasons. In 1
moment both groups cap at least 10+ objectives so if you have it set to 5
bars after 5 objectives are capped the other bars don't show on screen. So
you may want to recap something back and you don't have that bar... and
usually when you do need a time it's just that one that doesnt show because
you had it set to max 5 bars :p

Because I can't see the timer on the shackle.

Do your shackles actually last the full duration? In my experience on
the Moroes fight, you need to reshackle well in advance of the timer.

Nope but as a healer I'm busy healing - seeing the timer on the shackle is
a nice reminder to me that hey, it's been a little while since I
reshackled, time to do it again. When I'm concentrating on healing I really
can't keep track mentally of how long it's been, so having that little
indicator counting down is a good visual cue as to when it'd be a good
idea.

Plus it lets me see immediately if it breaks (rather than my finding out
when the mob hits me), or if some numpty decided to put a dot on it, in
which case at least I can fade and yell at them for being an idiot (yes
it's happened before and no doubt will again Wink)

I think this has been discussed before on these groups but heck why
not say it again, re-casting Shackle Undead early has NO effect on its
chance to break early.

The chance to break is calculated periodically, and the chance is the
same every time the check is made. It is also the same chance for the
cast to be resisted. (assuming no mob special attributes that
circumvent these normal rules).

The minimum resist/early break chance you can achieve against a mob is
1% (same for any spell in the game). To achieve this against level 70
mobs requires aprox +3% spell hit.

If you have +3% spell hit, there is 99% chance Schackle Undead will
not break on an early check, or be resisted by a level 70 mob.

The chance Shackle will last the full duration, where 22 periodic
checks are performed is aprox 80%. (0.99^22, it may actually be 23
checks, the inital cast and 22 period checks, but the chance is still
roughly the same).

If you have no +spell hit, there is a 96% chance Schackle Undead will
not break on an early check, or be resisted by a level 70 mob.

The chance now that Shackle will last the full duration, where 22
periodic checks are performed is aprox 41%. (0.96^22) Thats a massive
difference, and is probably why a lot of healing Priests, who probably
dont have +spell hit, see their Shackles break early on Moroes, all
other things being equal.
