help my ghost is lost in a canyon and CANNOT get out.

either I found the one and only escape or someone changed the geometry.
because I worked my way around the walls 4 times and when I did jump
on top it surprised me. I was just flailing at the walls. Thanks to
WOW that must have let me out.

That's a good thing, because since you didn't mention which of the
hundreds of servers you happened to be on, it may have taken a while
to find and rescue you As if.... <grin>

I don't use the facility very often, but there used to be a "free
yourself" for being stuck under the help facility... I don't know what
it does and whether it works as a ghost...

Remarkably I experienced the same thing by dying while high up in the
mountains of Blade's Edge and then falling down into the ravine below
where the Bloodmaul Ogres camp. Ended up having to use a Horde
graveyard to rez myself, incurring rez sickness in the process. Ended
up just leaving the area to wait out the sickness and unwind, I was so
frazzled...

Too bad there's no /returntoangel command when you're dead...
