Well, you'd always have to do that, because formatting wipes out drivers as
well as everything else.
All I can offer is general advice. Make sure all your drivers are up to
date. Make sure the game is patched to the latest version. And (maybe) ping
Jeremy Reban, something is firing in my head that says he once answered a
question similar to this one (but it could be another case of my brain going
where no man has gone before - it does wander away from me sometimes - I
like to think that the people who bring it back are being kind, but maybe
it's just not good enough for them to want to keep it)
