An excellent point..was in bit of a rush when I posted that.
There is no question he is the leader of the party, mainly because he takes
a "I'm doing this, and you're coming with me because you don't want to be
without a healer" approach, often coupled with several good bluff checks.
His Bluff and Sense Motive are almost maxed (high int allows for more skills
thankfully..he's not slacking in the standard clerical skills).
The party currently consists of himself (Cleric/Master of Shrouds), a
Sorc/Pale Master, and a Warlock. The gaming group has been in a bit of
flux...we also had a Druid and a Bard/Chameleon, but it doesn't look like
they're going to be around (both moving away, different cities...these
things happen).
He definitely relies on his rebuking abilities..through substantial gear
buffs he is currently rebuking as a 23rd level cleric. As such, at the
moment he has two 10th level vampire clerics and an 8th level vampire
fighter under his command (spawn tree, coupled with item to increase amount
of undead he can have under his control). He also has a 20HD displacer
beast zombie. So the party is not without its tanks. Another reason why
everyone else follows along with him. He uses his incorporeal summons to
attack in places that he can't get to immediately, and in the past has used
them to create spawn trees of incorporeal undead under his control as well
(just got done with a particularly nasty fight, and all my shadows got
nuked).
Other than that, he uses a lot of buff spells and engages in melee combat
himself. DMM-Quicken is mainly to allow him to drop a Spikes or a Divine
Power at the drop of a hat and charge in right away.
Oh, and being an evil campaign, I'll probably have to kill everyone in the
party at some point. You know..just in case they forget their place.
