help with Garretloader please

Thief DS already on pc and been played a few times, installed
Garretloader 1.41
pointed to game and fm directories click save and everything is ok, fm
games list at the top.
If a game is chosen and then Install, GL crashes and I have to
Alt/ctr/del to end it.
On restarting GL a message bobs up about an FM not installing and some
steps to sort it out. One being delete file Current_Install.txt (I've
scanned the pc and this file isn't there?
Then it says delete the recovery log file

did a clean install of TDS and it's working fine now
