What argument? Mine is displaying 1080P over component right now. And
there is tons of people already viewing 1080P movies over VGA now with
the release of the HD-DVD drive.

Would be nice to get HDMI though.

Hi there, are you quite sure its 1080p and not 1080i ?

In that interview mentioned above he states that 1080p isnt supported
and I would be surprised that it would be without true DVI or HDMI
output from the console.

On another note, the HD DVD is now out, but I havent heard anything
about any true digital output from the magic box yet, has anybody else
heard anything?

Yeah this is annoying. Just because you don't *need* HDMI to play in
HD, it would be nice if they offered it to give their customers choice.
My telly cannot do 1080p on any connection other than HDMI, and I am
currently using 720p over component. If there was an XBOX360 HDMI
cable then I could use that on my 2nd HDMI-in on the telly and free-up
the component for my PS2 - that's what choice is about. As it stands I
am forced to run the PS2 via a SCART connection.
