| has anyone heard an update on whether or not that multi-out on the back
can support an hdmi cable?
i guess i don't really care as much as some do, but it would certainly
put to rest the argument about whether or not the 360 will actually be
able to output 1080p.

What argument? Mine is displaying 1080P over component right now. And
there is tons of people already viewing 1080P movies over VGA now with
the release of the HD-DVD drive.
