why can't I play the game for more then an hour or two before it
crashes? why does it seem like every time Halo crashes, scandisk finds
a problem with tvdebug.log...because everytime I run scandisk there is a
problem found with tvdebug.log...

Hi JillAdams,

That's your Zone Alarm (True Vector) log file.
It would appear that your firewall is behind the problems you're experiencing.
A quick solution would most likely be to reinstall or upgrade your Zone Alarm.

Hi JillAdams,

You can only shut down the GUI, the actual True Vector application
continues to run in the background, causing problems like the one you
reported. It may be time to reinstall or trade up to a recent OS/Firewall.
