Someone posted a while back about some sites offering different hair
styles...I can't find the post now but would love to download some new
styles as I only like about three of the Maxis offerings. Thanks.

PS: To whoever told me about Motzarella for usenet: thanks! Husband
helped me get it loaded today and I'm through with google groups,
hopefully forever.

If you find something that is pay, here is where you find it for free.

That might have been me, I know I have suggested it to people, but can't
remember if you were one of them. Whether it was me or not, I am glad it's
worked out for you.

There's masses of hair syles on MTS2 = http://www.modthesims2.com/

I have some from Nouk, but those sites are down right now, and from
raonjena, http://www.raonsims.com/main/main.php but some are pay there -
but available in the Booty. I am sure other people will be along with some
suggestions.

Apart from Raon and modthesims2, which you have been pointed at, there is
also www.rosesims2.net
Rose had both free and pay hairstyles. For the pay styles just go to
http://paysites.mustbedestroyed.org/booty/rose/

There is also Peggy Sims (just google it) but I find her textures too shiny
so tend to mention it but not recommend it. She is also sometimes called
"Gappy" by the simming community because a lot of her shorter hair styles
show a hole in the head at the back of the neck (which is what "gappy"
refers to - the neck gap, which is not present in hairs created by other
creators). Some of her longer hairstyles are pretty and don't show the neck
gap, so you might like them.

http://www.xmsims.com/ also has some pretty and popular hair styles.

Cheers!

Do you know which hair? Sites like www.simscave.com sometimes do recolours
and include the mesh rather than linking to it. You might be able to find it
on a site like that.

Cheers!

I think I do, I'll have to check next time I run the game. I left it
running when I went to see if the site was up and didn't note it down at the
time. ( Got the same problem with one at MST2 and a peggy one as well -
but I might just dump those and get some new ones - but why should moving a
folder to an external HD and back again mean you lose a part?? ). In the
meantime I shall have a look there. Thanks.Smile
