Hey Guys & Gals,

I have a huge collection of mame roms and most work, but some of
the more recent games, like daytona and fighting vipers, don't even show up
on my list of games within mame. I've refreshed my game list and saved the
roms in folders that are listing in mame. I'm using mame V .107 with emu
loader. Any reason why these games mau not be showing up? Thanks for any
help & tips.

Simply put, the code needed to run them isn't there so that's why they
aren't showing up in your game list.

Despite the fact that you have the roms, it doesn't necessarily mean the
game is emulated.

Hell - I've never even heard of Fighting Vipers before.

But - the general rule before a game is considered for emulation is 3 years
from the date of last manufacture/sale,
so if Fighting Vipers is newer than 2003, then that in itself is the chief
reason it's not in MAME.

Ah ok, thanks for the post guys. For some reason, I figured if the roms
were available then the games were at least functional, if not fully
playable. I have virtua fighters and that runs great...surprisingly.
