That 'tap'-type symbol (albeit, turned on its side). Perhaps that is
WotC-owned, I dunno.
I know that Steve Wieck has allowed players the use of the non-Tri snakes
VTES symbols for non-profit use (e.g. shirts, mugs, etc.), and I don't
think that beginning with one of those symbols and then simply turning it
a few degrees releases the designer from that allowance.

A good and expensive lawyer could make a case, but a resemblance to a
trademark is not a good foundation for a copyright infringement suit,
especially spoofs which this obviously is. Spoofs are often exempt
from trademark violation law. Point in case, Walk Hard, the Dewey
Cox story, was an obvious spoof of Walk the LIne. Walk Hard was made
by Columbia Pictures, owned by Sony, to capitalize on the popularity
of Walk the like which was made by Fox 2000, owned by Rupert Murdock.
You don't see any headlines about their various armies of lawyers
spilling blood on the courtroom floor over this.
Lawyers are not accountants. Humor is not only appreciated. It is a
utilized as a tool.
