Now I get what you mean.

That thing? I guess "Abtropfschale" or something like that. At least
that's what I'd call it. What you mean, though, (you know a proper
sieve) is called "Sieb". And the word looks really funny to me all of
the sudden.

Yup, me too. For the past several months though, all I've been able
to do is slurp down the headers and bodies and then have no time even
to read 'em. So I have monster threads here on my drive, and by the
time I read things it's way too late to answer -- almost like with
this, where I'm about a week out of date 8-} Man, the time simply
shoots past in a spray of frenzied fur.
By the way, I think I probably have just about the whole JNCOBoy
thread variously deposited around the "I can't clean this out because
I haven't read it" caverns of my hard drives...

I'm not so sure about that; can't quite remember where you are in the
year-count, but I know I'm heading down the second half of my '50s and
it's a well-oiled slide to that not-so-distant welcome-mat of the
'60s.
Hang on while I stagger off to get some more Pink Bubbly!

I envy you your cats, though I must say I know how heartbreaking it is for
you to see them go.
And I went away last weekend and didn't get back to AGC for a week myself.
