Fortunately, those times are past. Well, unless you have a persistent
inability to remove the word "y'all" from your vocabulary, as it's on
the "bad words" list and nobody's around nowadays that has the power to

newsgroups Sad

Oh, I didn't check... It's hard to believe that Thunderbird's nntp is
less comfy/easy to use than forums...

I even use it offline (advanced install)! (and I finally upgraded to
1.0.2 because there doesn't seem to come a 1.0.4 like there is with
firefox).

Still, I think the exploits on 1.0 would mainly work on e-mail (with
gifs and such),
