Sorry for breaking character, but this line is simply brilliant. Is it
original, Brad?

We now return you to the regularly scheduled silly-buggers.

BTW I just came across this:

http://wired.com/news/evote/0,2645,65609,00.html?tw=wn_story_top5

Some of those faults are even more trivial than the imperial v metric
problems that put paid to the MPL a few years back. It's probably not
worth worrying about though. It would be more serious if the USA was
a democracy.

I had read about that. I'm not suspicious that the same "glitch" might have
happened in other precincts because most precincts have enough voters to
cover up the "glitch" so it won't be noticed. I'm just pleased that this
time the president was not chosen by the courts but instead by an election
of the people with a few "glitches" thrown in for good measure.

BTW, I do admit that I was taking it too seriously but a few more margaritas
of therapy and I'll be fine.

It is, but any brilliance (if you were serious) was purely by
accident.

That's what Stalin said.

No he didn't. But maybe he should have.

Was it? I certainly didn't mean it to be. Nasty, I mean. Or fair, I
suppose, when it comes right down to it. So, br d, if you haven't already
killfiled me: I genuinely appreciated your line -- please regard any
accidental nastiness as having been directed at Stalin or any other
deserving dictator.

Anyway, I wouldn't purposely say anything nasty about br d: he might know
where I live.

Oh it was very fair. It's important to draw this kind of proportional
conclusion from the available evidence, I'm sure it's obvious how
similar mine and Stalin's methods are.

Indeed. In fact, I was startled to learn that Stalin, like br d, also
owned a trampoline.

No he didn't. But maybe he should have.
