I thought the effect of the homing missiles was well done but to me the first
thing I look for is what the flight model is like. And this one was basically
Wing Commander. I still like to go back to I War 2 for my fix to be honest.

FWIW I was pretty annoyed by my being able to get to the enemy capital
ship and start pounding on it with the plasma rounds only to have the
bridge bunny tell me it was time to pack it in and go home. WTF? We
have them at our mercy, they have no air-cover left and the fighters we
are flying are too nimble for their defences. Let's us blow it out of
the Jovian sky! Wink

Still for $20 it might be a good way to blow off some after-work stress
but I still want to see more of the game first. Smile
