Hello Derek. Still a grumpy sod, I see.

It shows more initiative than just faking it, that's for sure.

Indeed. How to make the game still enjoyable to play is another matter
altogether.
I had a look at a couple of the reviews of Medieval: Total War last
night. It looks very promising. I especially liked the idea of the
Viking expansion pack. The idea of naked Celtic warriors chasing blonde
bimbos across much of northern Britain seems very amusing for some
reason.

I highly recommend the Viking Invasion expansion pack. All castles come
with hot and cold running women.

Speaking of transportation: one of our local municipalities recently
installed roundabouts at some "problem" intersections. The local newspaper
had to publish instructions on how to use them. You would laugh: the "deer
in the headlights" facial expressions are simply precious.

Once, but the hollandaise sauce was a bit off and I didn't finish it.

Correct, that's my point. We need to teach them sexual deviance that is
better in-line with the sexual deviance expected in a modern country thereby
hopefully expunging the sexual deviance that is considered normal practice
there now. You just need to keep in mind that whatever happens that it is
all a rather magnanimous but admittedly devious plan to help the Iraqi
people to be a free modern democracy like Bush said.
Another example, we attacked Iraq because we had to force Iraq to destroy
their weapons of mass destruction. This plan worked wonderfully. The proof
is that there are no weapons of mass destruction. See how simple it all
is?!! >> Stay informed about: Attention Bill Huffman |

Surely that stick you spend all your time poking people with is blunt
by now? Pity you lack the wit with which to sharpen it.
I'm not going to bite anyway so piss off.
How's the abstinence, dare I ask?

What has the sea at one end and mountains at the other? What are you
talking about? If the IOW wasn't surrounded by sea it would just be
the OW wouldn't it? Silly puppy.

Lemming lent him his best pink tutu and Zan's refusing to give it

Oh yes I see now, it was the old mis-directing trick, I completely
failed to pick up on it. Just out of nosy bastard interest, why,
apart from the walks and the beaches, the IOW? Have you spent much
time there in the past?

Zan, clearly, is being most unreasonable, but are you the entirely
innocent party in the affair ?

A classic compromise which is showing signs of breaking down. It goes
something like this :-
I don't care where we go, but I would like the residence to have certain
facilities. (Somewhere for my office and my model railway)
My wife wanted to move to the Purbecks (it's become too expensive).
My daughters don't want to move further west (losing friends)
Of the 4 candidates we've been looking at one has been sold 3 are now
under offer as from today. Therefore back to square one.

I take your point, of course.
In fact I've never seen a business simulation do it correctly. I wasted
60 quid on one in the early days of micro-computing and haven't tried
any since.

I imagine the concept of roundabouts could be quite dangerous in the
States. They are pretty rare? What happens when out of towners come
visiting ?
Bit like Brits when they take their cars on the continent. In that case
it only needs fog to create utter chaos.
