I am a Swedish lurker but since 1½ years living i Perth, Australia. I am 70
years and have been into flight simulation since MSFS 5.1 and maybe even
earlier. I used to have an Amiga and to be honest age has made me forgetting
what the first flight sim was!
Well, I still have no signs of senility ( as I know of ! ) and I have
followed this group since I came to Perth ( my provider in Sweden did´nt
have it! ) and it it has become my absolute favorite. I have learnt a lot
here and even about the ideosyncracies of the non-lurkers! And sometimes I
have to endure some good, old, bad jokes in the OT:s.

ASB, sounds about normal to me. I find I can happily fly in FSX around 15/16
fps, but i often get 30 when out of city!

Hi Snake Eyes. Thanks for the invitation. I joined this group about
six months ago when the ms public simulators FS site seemed to get
less and less traffic. My particulars are:
John G (75) almost 76 - Southampton UK (EGHI)
I am a retired broadcast engineer with a keen interest in flying since
my army days. I have been a great fan of Microsoft FS since I can't
remember when. For what it costs it's a remarkable bargain even if it
does have its little idiosyncrasies. The first flightsim I used
(probably wasn't MS) was a wire frame affair with absolutely no
scenery except for a bridge over a river which you had to be very
lucky to find! This was back in 1985 or thereabouts.
I am looking forward to piloting a 727 on a flight simulator at EGHH
in a couple of weeks. I cashed in my unused Air miles for an exclusive
hour on this machine. I'm told the aircraft is 'based' in the southern
hemisphere having been used to train Aussie pilots, now used for
training cargo piloting. Should be fun.

Hi All,
Been around a loooong time and probably one of the oldest lurkers and
occasional posters (will be 76 next month). Read all the posts every
morning with my coffee and it's a great start to my day. Thanks to all for
the great help, chuckles, and sometimes very serious discussions over the
years.
