Playstation 3 - Our 3 works in all areas except reading discs. It cannot recognise any disc, game, DVD Blu Ray. Can anyone help? We purchased in USA and live in Sydney so cannot get it serviced here.

I love my playstation BUT - This is one of my 6 systems that i truly grew up with and love so much. But i have been playing it less and less after my Nintendo Wii. I still use it every week as a dvd player though. Am i the only one?

Playstation Store Question - Just got on-line with my PS3. Can you download demos off the store? I've tried to click on the Demo icons with the x button but nothing happens. Help!

Well, the PlayStation 2 component cable is proprietary as well, but it
won't work with the PlayStation Portable. The connector at the PSP end
of the cable is much smaller than the connector on a PS2 video cable.

I think what he's refering to is the scaling artifacts you get when
you take a 480i or 480p game and display it on a 720p display. Or how
pixelated it gets on a 1080p display. Note that the PSP's display is
effectively 272p so is going to look blocky on when blown up to the size
of any kind of TV.

Oh, and your TV will need to support progressive scan (480p) if you want
to play games.
