Kind of like when you repeat one word over and over again to yourself,

I got that from saying 'bowl' a lot... bowl bowl bowl... comes out bowel after a
while...

Language is funny... if you leave off a part of a word it has a different
meaning, such as looking at a girl sternly, or looking at her stern...

Of course there is the old joke... you can say 'prick your finger'... but you
can't say 'finger your *****'
