What ORB?

I think they mean the aspiration changer orb - it's an aspiration reward
object, I think.

Best wishes

Yes. I've tried the Smart Milk and the Thinking Cap in the aspiration
rewards and was unimpressed by either one. Most of those things look so
goofy I don't know where in the world to put them on the lot! I've never
even looked at the orb, though.

I used it once - Danny Morgan bought this sure fire machine from a bloke
down the pub that would, the bloke SWORE blind, make him irresistible to the
Ladeez. Hur Hur. Didn't work 'quite' as expected: less him being
irresistible and more him being unable to resist a nice toasty sandwich
filled with Cheese!

Best wishes

The majority of my sim toddlers get it, and if you check with the lot
debugger, one bottle seems to be enough to keep their IQ at 300 through
toddlerhood. Most of them get more though. I do like them to get that
edge so they have spare time as children and teens for other things. They
all seem to stick at that 300 through the first evening of childhood, but
transition glowing hasn't made mine keep it all through their childhood
days. Some do seem to do that, but very few have been glowing.

I just had one child, who definitely wasn't glowing ( I just checked a pic I
took ) keep it right through the first half of her teens, too. She only
lost it when I was checking for a faulty download and ACR being out then in
again caused a reset. I sent her to college needing only 6 more skill points
to max the lot.

Yes, it's actually a bug that some people like (never used it myself).
There's a degree of randomness as to whether they get to keep it.
Naturally, Pescado added it to the LotDebugger.

Actually there is. The orb that used to change aspiration can be used to
reset those.

Really? I'd have never known that if someone hadn't told me because I've
never used the orb. But I might now, if I can ever get their dang
aspiration level up to gold!

Me neither, wonder if there's a buyable orb.

Well, the orb is available fairly early on in the list of aspiration
rewards, before smart milk, I think. But if the sim is not platinum, you
chance having it backfire on you.
